Last year, Bou, gave Tater this cool pool. We never really had a chance to blow it up and use it. This year... I opened my big mouth and the kids got all excited. Our pump didn't work. So Daddy blew it up himself. Not me! We all know who has the hot air now. GRIN.
Here are some pictures of the monsters kids having fun. Click to Enlarge.
This is how to jump backwards into the pool!

Tot's relaxing (yep, that is his head and toes appearing just at the top of the pool) and Tater is ready to change all that.

Tater's jumping in, run run for the hills (or fall out of the pool)

Yes, we can play in the pool together.

And then the fun began. Click on More Pawprints to see the rest.
This pool also had cannons that shot water out. Daddy hooked it up. And proceeded to have cannon wars with Tater. Daddy won this war.

This time Tater wins!

The pool looks excellent -- very inviting. We have a tiny hard plastic one... I imagine we'll be upgrading in the next year or two!!
Keep us posted on the safety of your family!

Posted by: Lasciate at July 11, 2005 10:28 AMLove the new site! And I love the memories that the wading pool brings back to me of when my boys were little.
Posted by: Anita at July 11, 2005 10:58 AMMost excellent design and layout!!!!
Your kids look like they are having a blast, and what a cool like pool set-up that is! Since I build custom swimming pools myself, I can tell you that it is never to early to "waterproof" the young-uns! Make sure you drain that every time after using - for safety's sake!!
Posted by: Madfish Willie at July 11, 2005 11:46 AMYou can fill a pool with something besides pudding?
Huh... :-)
Posted by: Harvey at July 11, 2005 01:49 PMMadfish: Yep, the boys are in swimming lessons every week. We have a 'pool' in the back. With a fence and a baby safety fence.
Harvey: You didn't notice the cannons???
Posted by: VW Bug at July 11, 2005 02:06 PMLove the new site!
