Husband Out, Posting Light - some humor

Ok, my Husband was told last night he had to go to some meetings in Philly. Usually he watches the kids in the morning and evening and I get a chance to write up some stuff for my posts. Then during the course of the day, I post them or upload pictures or surf the blogs. And I have some cute pictures... sigh... It'll just have to wait. Ain't gonna happen today and tomorrow. Also, I am doing the Carnival of Recipes for this week. Sweet! But difficult. What little time I have on the computer will be to work on that post (and this one... which I started at 10am and will now post at 2:15pm). I did receive some more humor on that deals with age... thought you might enjoy it.

Humor about Age:

Have you been guilty of looking at others your own age and thinking, "Surely I can't look that old?"

I was sitting in the waiting room for my first appointment with a new dentist. I noticed his dds diploma, which bore his full name. Suddenly, I remembered a tall, handsome, dark-haired boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 40-odd years ago. Could he be the same guy that I had a secret crush on, way back then??

Upon seeing him, however, I quickly discarded any such thought. This balding, gray-haired man with the deeply lined face was way too old to have been my classmate. Hmmm,...or could he???

After he examined my teeth, I asked him if he had attended central high school.

"Yes. Yes, I did." he gleamed with pride.

"When did you graduate?" I asked.

He answered, "in 1951. Why do you ask?"

"You were in my class!" I exclaimed.

He looked at me closely. Then, that ugly, old, wrinkled son-of-a-bitch asked, "What did you teach?"
