Breakfast with Bou

Something interesting always happens when I have breakfast with Bou and her boys. This time it was two-fold. First my son and his trips to the bathroom, see HER POST HERE. Definitely a laugh.

Next was on the way out. Only a kid can come up with something so ironic. Her youngest, Bones, was leaning against Bou as she was trying to buy some cookies. Tater was trying to count the stuff behind the counter and kept bumping into them. Bones says in a very serious voice, "Tater, You are invading my space". Straight face and very serious. All the while, leaning from his shoulder to his ankle against his mom. Maybe it takes someone who likes her space to really see the humor in this... but I thought I was going to die laughing. He can invade mom's space, but goodness, no one should invade his!

LOL! It is so true! It's like when his teacher came up to my car and with a grave face said, "Today in class, Bones told a classmate to 'keep his friggin' hands off him'. Bones is the touchiest kid in the class..."

I was just glad he didn't drop the F bomb. Sheesh!

I'm a long time reader, but I don't think I've commented before. I've got to say, the more I read about Bones, the more I like that kid.....he's someone after my own heart.

Moms don't count :-)

I guess Mom's don't count... however I don't like being touched by anyone.

Bones thinks he and I are the same entity at times... I think most kids are like that. We Moms, however, don't view it that way...

My guy is always attached to me. Usually, he has his arm draped around me or his leg, he just can't seem to keep from "invading my space." I love that Bones!

LOL! Oh, the irony of it. My kid gets so close to me that she actually steps on my feet several times during the day..
