It's Cold Outside In Florida(?)

It's 70 degrees outside. But Tater is convinced it is cold. So cold he has to put this warm jacket (that is a little too small) on... and pull up the hood.

Notice in this next picture how Tater is wearing shorts and NO shoes along with the jacket. Uhhhh ... am I the only one that thinks this is funny?

As long as he is happy!

And no, you aren't the only one who finds this funny!

The shorts, no shoes and a jacket? Yeah, I did that all the time. :-) And I remember when I thought 70 was cold!!!

The boy has his tape measure out and I reckon he figures that working men wear a coat and he is a working man

Cuties. Gotta have a tape measure too -- you never know when you'll need one (so my husband says).

So, what do they call Florida rooms in FL? Are they called Florida rooms? (that's what they're called in NY -- 3-season room = FL room)

Florida room in Florida (or Hawaii or Guam) is called a Lanai

While my sis, Tink, is technically correct, I call it a screened-in back porch. ;-)

I guess people would think it was odd if you called it a Florida room, huh? Around here, some people have garage-ios -- screened entryways instead of a garage door in the summer time. People use the garage-io as a porch-like room, and they put some furniture and a tv in there too. It seems to be an ethnic thing, but I don't want to stereotype...

I thought the Florida room was also called a Sun Room?
That way, it didn't matter which state you are in!
