Waiting for Monday

When you have a weekend like mine, you can't wait for Monday. I, a "mom", got sick. Not allowed. But it happened anyway.

Then when we went out with the kids this morning, the transmission on my car went out. No warning lights, just gone. I-95. Oh what fun.

I'm going to go hide myself in the couch and hope the kids don't see me. Then again, Dad will probably find me there.

Hide in your room! With the door locked! and hide the key from your hubby!!! then have food delivered to your bedroom window so no one in the house has to see you... Feel better soon.

Forget the couch. Go hide in that wonderful bathroom of yours. You have room in there for a refrigerator. You could probably put a couch in there too if you wanted to. You would never have to go anywhere.

Hope you and the van get to feeling better.

Forget a room in your house...they always seem to find you. Don't you know the bathroom is the worst place? Mom's can't go potty without a child- it's a law somewhere I think...go hide in the van! Take some comfy blankets, a pillow and some soup...

I keep asking Santa for a secret compartment behind the crisper in the fridge where I can go and talk on the phone... Check and see if you got it instead!

Hope you're feeling better soon, toddlers can really gang up on you if they sense weakness...

Sneak out to the other house. Tell hubby you are going to be cleaning so he can either go over and clean or watch the kids. If he puts up a fuss, tell him big sis will beat him up.

If you have not told hubby about the car yet toss him your keys and ask him to go get a loaf of bread then ask him later why he tore up your car. Maybe he will feel bad and by you a brand new BMW

I like everyone's idea but not sure which one is the best answer... going to the van at the dealer shop sounds the furthest away. ;-)

GuyK: He was in the car when it happened. I was VERY glad he was the one driving. I'm not sure the dealer would have believed me when I told him no warning lights ever came on. Though I can be very aggressive uhhhh... make that assertive when I need to be.
