Sense of Humor

Tater had me laughing tonight on the way home for dinner. He told a knock knock joke.

Tater: Knock knock
Pop: who's there?
Tater: Snow
Pop: Snow who?
Tater: Snow melts and becomes water. ** loud laughter **

The rest of the us laughed after that. And the jokes continued in that manner for a while.

I remembered that one in particular because of how it started. With 'snow'. We had just heard a Doodlebop knock knock on Friday with 'snow'. Only it ended with "Snow body here except me".

Gotta love kids and their sense of humor.

Yeah - I got so tired of this after a while that I bought my daughter (now 8) her own joke book.
Now my 5 yo boy is in the knock knock phase too.

Ha ha ha!

RTY's first joke that was actually funny was:
Why is six afraid of seven?
Why?
Because seven eight nine!

She didn't understand why it was funny, but it was her first real joke. And we enjoyed it. She must have learned it off some tv show at her mother's house. Since all she does at her mother's house is watch tv.
