Definitely going to be an interesting year in our house. Tot decided that an eye injury was just what mom needed to round out the week before school starts. Yep, take a look at the dilated eyes and the little swelling... turns out his eyeball is swollen as well. Sigh... click to enlarge.
Posted by vw bug at January 6, 2007 06:57 AM | TrackBackI'd be wigging out. I can't handle eye injuries. I flake out when my kids get sand in their eyes. I have handled concussions, broken bones, blood spewing all over... no biggy. Vomit all over, near poisonings, and poop up to my elbows... no biggy. Give me an eye injury and I'm hurling in a cold sweat.
Good Lord. You need a vacation.
Posted by: Bou at January 6, 2007 09:07 AMOh dear, hope all is well. Hate to tell ya but it doesnt get any better when they get older. I just recently posted about my 31 yr old son eye injury, lol.

Posted by: Mrs_Who at January 6, 2007 11:13 PMThat is a very curious scab... it looks like a word. ;)
My best eye removal attempt... errrr, injury... was when I was nine and collided with a clothesline. Cut my eyeball as well as the edge of the lids.
I thought I was so cool with my eye matted shut.
