Life Sucks When Mom Is Sick

Mom is sick. Yep, me. I sound horrible, I feel fussy and b.tchy but otherwise ok. Just need some sound quiet sleep. Not going to happen, but I can hope.

I was checking out blogs when I found this quiz below... I saw it too many places and didn't bother to find the links for all of them. Thank you whoever did it... it ave me something to post. It pretty much fits unless I get around someone with an accent... then I have a tendency to pick it up. Sigh. Done, later...

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

You're not Northern, Southern, or Western, you're just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don't really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up.

Hope you fee better!

That quiz sucks. It told me that I speak 'neutral' too. Unless it doesn't take 'twangs' into account.

Same here. Must be from moving around so much. Or maybe it's just that we know how to annunciate.

That thing is broken. There is no way I have a neutral accent.

Hope you get to feeling better.

Hope you feel better soon. I am neutral too. Grew up in Western NY, lived in southern VA for 18 years and FL for the last 8.

Hubby is very sick today. He is usually very brave when he is ill. Not your typical man at all. I hope you start feeling better real soon. Tis the season for the flu
