Blizzard At The Beach

We went to the beach on Sunday to see "snow". It turned out to be a pile of 'shaved ice'... but considering my kids have never seen snow... it was pretty awesome.

What would a celebration be without a bounce house where you could race each other??? And this is where the camera battery decided to die!

We had a blast! Even the snake show went over well... Going to be a busy week.

How cool! It was a great day for it, too... :)

I didn't know they made it from shaved ice, though.

You oughta come up to Alaska, we've got plenty of snow. Soon it'll be a White Thanksgiving. We had a White Halloween. Of course a White Christmas. White New Year's. White Valentine's Day. White Easter. You wanna see snow, we got your snow!

See ya :)

Enjoying snow in short sleeves - that's AWESOME!!

You could always bring everybody to *my* house for the full effect - starting this weekend! ; )

Did you notice the GREEN trees in the background? By the time we left the temp was in the 80s and most of the 'snow' had melted.
