Making Ornaments

Last year we made ornaments... and I had to try it again this year. This was the first try ...

and later you will see more results. Particularly since I discovered that giving the boys 4 ornaments to do was a bad choice. I now limit it to one a day or every other day. And we started the Christmas Star. That is a post within itself.

May I suggest an ornament we had great success with?

Get styrofoam balls (whatever size you like) and holiday paper napkins. You cut out the design on the napkin, provide a plate of clue. They glue the design to the ball. Then, roll in glitter (the white/clear kind). Pin a ribbon loop to the top.

Surprisingly durable. We made ours a few years ago and they still look great.
