Seems we lost the cucumber plants... but look what has survived...
Now I have to figure out how to keep the rabbits and squirrels and birds from eating them....

Posted by: vw bug at December 7, 2007 01:51 PMI've never had much luck with cukes in Florida..I don't know why..but those (as my kids used to call them ) 'squawberries' will do extremely well..just keep them watered and there ain't no way to keep the birds and treerats from them unless you have them in a screened room where the sun will get to them..
