The Night Out

I had a night out with my Husband. I couldn't believe it. No children. Just him and I at the dinner table eating and talking. I was afraid we would just sit and stare at each other in disbelief all night. But we actually talked and had fun. After dinner we went shopping for Tater's birthday presents. My Hubby is a child at heart. You should see some of the toys he brought to the counter or held up. Luckily we didn't buy it all. Even with dinner and shopping, we got home before bedtime. I swear the kids seemed like they didn't really miss us. Tot even gave Bou a closed mouthed kiss. Hugs are for everyone, closed mouth kisses are saved for a privileged few.

Bou was wonderful with the kids. In fact, she took a couple of pictures and told the story of what happened in THIS POST. Go on over and enjoy hearing about my kids from a different perspective.

I know how that goes, my wife and I joke everytime we get away from the boys that we don't know what to do... then something comes up. ;)

Oh, man! Contagion, she was at toy store, geez!

Contagion: You really ought not say stuff like that to me. I just want to ask... what came up? {snicker snicker}

Oddybobo: and then you make me think of a different kind of toy store... Sigh... Toy's R Us just doesn't have the right kind of toys for us on our night out. ;-) ;-)

They were great. Really!

Now lets just hope they don't knock themselves silly with those pheasants...

Bou: So far only one whacking with the stuffed pheasant toy.

Lasciate: Thanks!

I'm glad you had some time together. The boys looked happy, too!

Very nice. Dates are good!! We need to do more of that here... Very cute pics. I need to learn about GeoTrax, as I said at Bou's... I take it they're way more affordable than the others?
