saline nasal spray. Saline Nasal Spray. SALINE NASAL SPRAY. RUN RUN RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
Why do kids wake up if they cannot breath through their nose? They have a mouth. It is possible for breath to come in and out of the mouth. But not for my kids. In a dead sleep, they must wake up screaming because they took ONE breath out of their mouth.
Now you must sit in an upright position and hold them until their nose clears. Why does this always happen sometime after 1am?
The only thing that keeps me going is that I love my children. And I know this too will pass.
Side Note: I have a date with my husband tonight. Yep, it's been 7 months since just he and I went out. Tonight we have that wonderful chance. Bou is coming to babysit. She is bringing her 3 boys and keeping my 2 boys entertained. I love it. Almost wish I could be a fly on the wall watching the 5 of them. Almost.
You can breath through your mouth?
Clone is good that way, once he goes to sleep, he rarely wakes up for any reason other then someone intentionally waking him up or he is just finished sleeping.
Posted by: Contagion at July 21, 2005 08:27 AMYou know Bou is just doing to for a blog story? Cause tomorrow there will be a post about it, a funny post of stuff that happened.
Posted by: Machelle at July 21, 2005 09:13 AMWe are having the same troubles right now. Can't sleep cause the nose is stuffed. Last night, the boy slept on my chest so at least we could both sleep, even though upright.
Posted by: Oddybobo at July 21, 2005 09:25 AMOh yeah, it's all about potential blog fodder! I got a job for my blog. Thinking about getting a dog for my blog. Sitting tater and tot for my blog.
I think that I wish hurricanes on us for blog fodder too! ;-)

Incidentally, is "breath", in the context you mean it, an American thing? We use "breathe" for the verb, and "breath" for the noun.
Posted by: Sally at July 21, 2005 01:36 PMHave fun. Don't go to a movie...with the lack of sleep you've been getting, you'll probably sleep through it :-)
Posted by: Sissy at July 21, 2005 05:27 PMHave fun! My family is going to institute a "date night" and drop children off so we can all enjoy "adult time". I hope we will start soon!
Posted by: Jody Halsted at July 21, 2005 05:56 PMOn your date, see how long you can go without talking about your boys. :)
