Pictures from after the FIRST eye wall activity and while we could run around in the Eye of the storm:
Notice the direction the banana trees are in THIS picture... in a day or two you will get pictures as the second side of the eye wall came by...
Tree limbs... I don't need no stinky tree limbs:
More photos over the next day or two. And some stories to go with them.
I am glad you are all safe & sound! Happy B-day Happy Dog Husband!
Posted by: Jen H at October 25, 2005 09:17 AMI'm really glad to know you're Okay, safe and sound. Hey, how's the neighbor that lives near the canal?
I hope the kids didn't get too scared from the noise.
Will check back later!
Posted by: at October 25, 2005 10:16 AMGood to hear you and yours come through safe and with minimal damage. The last I heard from Bou she had told her dad that they were gonna need a new roof and wellhead but all were safe otherwise.

Posted by: oddybobo at October 25, 2005 11:41 AMThanks Michele, unless you want to ship yourself down here... or wait a week and ask again. Let's see if they open up gas and grocery stores in a couple of days.
Ogre: Not going to tell you.
Guy, Oddybobo, Jen H: Thank you!
Posted by: VW Bug at October 25, 2005 04:01 PMDid the backside of Wilma stand your Banana Trees back up? Hurricane Dennis did that to my sister's trees. Actually, Ivan tipped them one way and Dennis straightened them up.
