Somedays I actually get to read some stuff on the web. Today I read an article titled "How Spammers Get Your Email Address". It had interesting information like:
So, to find email addresses at a large ISP, it's enough to combine the domain name with a random user name. Chances are both "asdf1@hotmailcom" and "asdf2@hotmail.com" exist. To beat this kind of spammer attack,
* use long and difficult addresses.
And it gave a link on what was long and difficult addresses.
It gives other good information about how to put encoded email addresses in your posts and so on. Enjoy.

If you use a program like Outlook, create a rule that says the email must be sent twice before it hits your inbox.
Most $pammers only send the email once from a particular address and this rule will return the email back to the sender with an 'unable to deliver' message.
